The blonde? Twisted Sister here.
Does anyone remember that Ray Stevens song? It has to be one of the stupidest songs in the world, yet I just love saying, “It’s me again–Margaret.” For those who really know me, they don’t call me “Margaret” and they don’t call me Mister Tibbs, either. Poor joke, but hey, it’s gloomy outside, I’ve got work to be done both inside and out, and I’ve got 3 bull calves penned that are bawling for their mamas. The mamas are running the catch pen fence line crying for their babies. I get to be a bit crazy–ier.
Do you have a most hated song?
A best ever song?
A song with your name in it?
Please let me know, I’m trying to delay writing that obnoxious query and synopsis!

Don’t have any answers for your questions, Meg, but as a Margaret, I had to respond. I tried to be a Maggie, with my first job and high school buddies, but it took YEARS to get rid of the Maggie stygma. I’m so much more a Margaret than Maggie, Meg, or Margie. A handful of old friends still call me Maggie and I have one friend call me Margie (hard G sound), but I am and always will be . . . Margaret.
Thanks, Margaret, for posting!! I can’t see you any other way than Margaret–definitely not a Maggie. My aunt (I was named after her) was Margie, with the soft ‘g’. I have a dear dear friend whose name is Barbara. I’m the only one who calls her by her nick name.
Well, you know that any blog about music is one that I HAVE to comment on.
The only song I can think of with “Amy” in it is…”Amy…what you gonna do”. Dear Lord…I haven’t heard that song, but everytime someone starts to sing it near me..grr..
Song I hate: Hate is such a strong word…I dislike numerous songs only because they are way too played out.
Best songs: WOW….too many to list. The songs I am listening to currently that are new would be “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon & “Doublespeak” by Thrice!
LOL on the Amy song by Pure Prairie League. There are more, we just haven’t heard them yet.
So, are you making me a new song list?
Yeah, new playlist is started. Problem is, it’s going slowly…..I think you will like the Kings of Leon song. If not…boo on you!
