Twisted Sister Meg: back from a week away in isolated and beautiful Beavers Bend State Park.

Is there such a thing as ‘normal?’ I don’t think so, or at least, not in my world. After some time away the day to day grind is so much more tolerable. Thought I would share a couple things I learned:

The world didn’t collapse because I left town for a few days. All the critters got fed, Don did just fine without me, and life continued on.

I am truly blessed to have Don in my life. He supports and understands my need to get away. My mental health is as important for my writing as it is for our marriage. BTW:  He had fresh flowers waiting for us, and had BF Christi clean the house!

Memories made and shared are priceless.

Dogs are always delighted to see you no matter what.  :-)    Horses and cows don’t care unless there is a feed bucket involved!
