Marilyn and I are still consumed by the contest….like will it ever end? When I find myself overwhelmed and virtually wordless, I pull up photos from my trips that still thrill me.
There’s nothing like floating down into a pod of sand tiger sharks. The desire to reach out and touch was so tempting, except these guys have kinda sharp teeth. They weren’t interested in me despite the fact that I was close to baby Shamu size.

I love trunk fish. They are ugly cute.
Nudibranchs–sea slugs. Look but do not touch.
Turtles–majestic, amazing fast moving, graceful.
Happy Columbus Day if you’re off work!

Why can one not touch a sea slug? Just a little scary. I’m just sayin’.
Hi, Deb!
The pointy things on them are poisonous spines. They are so beautiful.
They are beautiful! I’ve had one experience snorkeling at St. Jacque Beach in the Caribbean. I remember it well because a tiny little eel shot out of an underwater cave and literally “forced” me to inhale saltwater. Also, it was a topless beach and my husband was hysterical. He didn’t want to look – lol.
Deb–
Ack, inhaling salt water is awful!
Topless beach–I don’t allow my husband to remove his t-shirt!
Don can look, but he can’t touch.
Too cool about the eel!
The sea slugs are gorgeous.
I like the turtling picture.
Ah, thanks, Marilyn.
My friend, Joanie, took it at the new exhibit she had arranged.
Megster —- You’re turtling!
We’ll be doin’ it soon!
*SNORK* *SNORK*
Oh, Bob!
I didn’t even think of that! *SNORK*SNORK*
Cozumel, here we come!
Ah, so peaceful looking. I need a chill break like this . . . too bad I just got back from my chill break and now have to deal with life’s realities.
Mags,
I’ll share my zen pictures whenever you need a chill break.
As for life’s realities…sigh.
I have another full week.
