Where was all this glorious rain in June? July? August? Usually I’m not one to complain about rain, especially since the lakes are so depleted from the drought. However–our ranch is flooding already. The black gumbo land was saturated before this stretch of rain. The creeks are full–(now that perp should have tried running through this fast deluge!)
I’m almost afraid to look out the windows. Uh, Don–Where are the keys to the boat?

Good day to cuddle up with your honey on the couch?
Deb–
He’s at work
I have the fireplace going and an eye on the creeks. When the ditch floods, our pasture isn’t far behind.
Sorry you’re getting more than you want at one time. Unfortunately, that’s usually the way it works.
We got a little rain at my house, but not nearly enough. According to the weatherman, it was less than an inch. But it was a nice slow rain so it all soaked in. Will keep the dust down for a few hours (at best). *s*
We got a nice rain last night that started just before I went to bed. In winter, when I’m sick of dreary cold days, that’s when I like the rain best.
Too bad there’s not some sort of funnel that could directed rain from places that don’t need it to those that do!
Marilyn–
Wish we could store the excess until summer.
Another day of rain here so more flooding. It almost went over the road last night.
Sorry about the flooding.
I wish we had gotten a little more than we did . . . even though I hate drying off muddy dog feet every fifteen minutes!
LOL, Mags!
Try drying 3 sets of muddy paws. There’s just a point where I put down a towel and wish for the best.
