Happy Mother’s Day to all the women out there. While we use today to honor mothers, I also want to recognize all those special women who nurture others, whether they are their children or not. May you have a wonderful day of being pampered and spoiled.

This has been a good weekend and it has just started. Don sees to that. Yesterday he took me to an arts and crafts fair in Winnsboro, TX. No his cup of tea. I lured him with taunts of hot dogs and fair food.  Alas, we were there too early as the food trucks weren’t quite ready.

I discovered a wonderful woman–Monica–who makes yard art! Garden Glitter is the name of her tags. Her work is just fantastic. Her personality is stellar. Don’t think she’s ever met a stranger. Hmmmmm. I could have bought almost everything on all three of her tables. When I’m given so many choices, I usually have a hard time deciding except today, her art was drawing a crowd. I had Don place each hand on a piece to hold while I went to another table to look. We ended up with 2 large pieces and a redneck wine glass.

Wishing you a very Happy Mother’s Day my friend! Love the yard art, especially the bird bath and hope you get to use that red neck wine glass for a hardy toast to you today!

Happy MD right back at you, Meg! Cool stuff! I had dinner last night with the kiddos and Cam — got a silver heart and pearl necklace that says, “Cameron’s grandma” on it. Love it!

  3. Happy belated Mom’s Day! I wanna see a picture of the redneck wineglass, please.
