Wow….The people of Rochester have been as friendly as the country is gorgeous. The Mayo has been no different.
BC’s brother and his wife both work for The Clinic, so having our own personal tour guide has helped MY nerves.
Yesterday was a hurry up and wait, then we went to brother’s house for a delicious dinner. Fresh asparagus growing amuck in their garden–weed like with fresh dill! REALLY! OH MY–I was in vegetable heaven. And lovely wife, now friend of mine, has rhubarb too.
We laughed, ate, visited, enjoyed their 3 kiddos–who are beautiful.
They have carved out a piece of northern serenity, complete with lovely blue spruce that tower to the sky, noble firs, cottonwoods, dark emerald fescue lawns.
They have a love that is boundless as the Minnesota sky.
And pretty cool dogs–Wesley, the black Lab; Molly–the chocolate Lab pup. Rusty Hambone the tabby rules the clan, and Colby Jones–a Morris lookalike–is just cool.

Eat a piece of rhubarb for me.
I did eat a piece for you.
We need to do a slower road trip than the one I was just one.
