I’m trying to catch up on my recorded programs because for some odd reason, I think I HAVE to watch what I recorded. Like reading a bad book all the way to the end hoping it will get better.
In one respect, watching an entire season makes the story flow better–OR NOT! For one show, I just want to shake the writer(s) &/or director, to stop the melodrama. Oh, wait, that’s what sells the show. Argh. The only reason I keep watching is the men in the cast are eye candy.
Last night, Don and I tried to watch the new DALLAS. I did dishes, scrubbed floors, and went for walk in 90 degree weather. Maybe because I live in the Dallas area and have seen Southfork–yes, it is that beautiful–but there is no vast acreage. Okay, I won’t spoil it for those who might like the show. Sometimes, you just shouldn’t revive old shows or even older actors.
I will see how far my DVR excursion will go today before bail.

How long did you last?
Totally agree on resurrecting old shows/older actors. I was never a fan of Dallas, so wsn’t thrilled to hear that now we get to see what putzes the KIDS are.
Though wouldn’t it have been totally better to have JR’s son the good guy and Bobby’s the greedy one?
Marilyn–
I lasted about 20 minutes–25 too long. The twist should have been Bobby’s son.
