Last Sunday I was blissfully underwater at Blue Heron Bridge in Riviera Beach, Florida. Diving the bridge is an entirely new dive experience–one I have yet to conquer but I’m getting there! If you go expecting to see the big stuff, you might be disappointed. I got to see some “Firsts!” An octopus — saw 4 in two dives. Seahorses–3. Frogfish–might have seen more, but counted 2 black ones! Filefish–another black one! A jawfish in his den. Starfish, a conch, goby, tons of stuff I’ll never identify. And a sharp tail eel!
I took pictures, which is kinda a laugh since I was diving with several professional photographers. My photos are personal documentation that I truly did see it. So, please bear with me as I post a few of them over the next several days. When I review the pictures (as well as deleting those) I can almost recreate the Zen I got while diving Blue Heron Bridge, and being with those few people who allowed me to share in their slice of Eden.
