Am I the only one who was NOT thrilled about having a white Christmas? For the first time in years, we had a houseful of our kids. The snowstorm meant the end of our festivities with them. At least the didn’t go home empty handed and we have very few leftovers!
As you’ve read in my blogs, this year was a hard one for me to get into the Christmas spirit. Each placement of a holiday decoration was forced. It was all worth it when we had the Twisted Princess visit for an early celebration on Sunday, then Don’s kiddos plus one came. Anna is now an official kiddo in my eyes. Yes, she’s just that special, and cute!
Then the snow started. . .
On a ranch that means much more work. But…that’s another blog.

A very Merry Christmas to you and yours, Meg! This year was a hard one!
Thanks, Bonnie!
Hope you and your family enjoyed a festive day. It was a hard year!
I was dreading a white Christmas because I had dinner with my dad and dreaded driving in it!
Jackie–
So glad you were able to have dinner with your father. Next visit, give him a hug for me as I miss my daddy so much.
Though everyone was predicting a white Christmas for us, we didn’t get it, so I was extremely grateful. Wonderful that most of the kids made it to your house!
We really missed Amy although she was working. The snow came as we sat down for lunch.
The drive back from taking Casey home was scary–there were real nut cases out there.
