EVER! I know, I’m twisted, but this is even more twisted.
This weekend while we were in Shreveport, I finally saw the tree that fell in my mother-in-law’s yard. (Long story) Huge weeping willow that had Don weeping at times. My second thought was of my friend, MA Golla, who writes YA books. Here was a passage from earth to Celestia!
My third thought was — I WANT THIS TRUNK! Yes, if there was any way possible. But I knew my little red RAV 4 couldn’t carry that much. So, I took pictures, and Don took pictures. I stuck my head inside, lovingly stroked the bark, then left for Twisted Creek.
Surprise! Don brought it home. To the amazement of the arborist and his helpers, Don asked for it to be loaded in his truck.
I’m so thrilled and this is the bestest Valentine’s Day present my love has given me!
(I plan to move it to Austin too!)

The tree is way too cool! Have fun playing with it!

I will–I have! So many plans.
Shoot, send Don over to my place and you can have every piece of plant life I Have, dead or alive.
Oh, Jackie–
I’m sure if he was in Tulsa, he would do almost anything you asked!
